Cryptoquant: BNB and BTC cryptocurrencies in the market

The BNB cryptocurrency again entered the top 5 of the largest cryptocurrencies, overtaking Solana according to market capitalization. The BNB indicator reached $ 92 billion, while Sol fell to $ 74 billion. At the end of 2024, the latter actively grew thanks to the boom meme-critical, but in 2025, interest in them switched to BNB Chain, which helped BNB restore positions.

Meanwhile, XRP demonstrated a sharp increase after Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections in November 2024. Since then, capitalization has increased from $ 30 billion to $ 141 billion by March 2025. This success was reinforced by the completion of the trials in the SEC. However, the price of the XRP is still behind the historical maximums, despite the rapid growth.

Ethereum continues to lose positions: capitalization has decreased by 50% since the end of 2024 and amounts to about $ 240 billion. Solana has also experienced pressure-from the beginning of 2024, the number of coins in circulation increased from 430 million to 511 million SOL, which led to a decrease in price due to the imbalance of demand and demand.

At the same time, BTC and BNB show the greatest stability. Both assets fell only 20% of historical maximums, which indicates a stable demand for them. In the case of the 2nd, this factor is reinforced by the use of a coin inside the ecosystem Binanceincluding Launchpool, Airdrop programs and listing voting.

ETH and SOL suffer from deeper drawdowns: Ethereum cryptocurrency has fallen by 43% compared to 2024, and Solana – by 25%. The decrease in SOL is especially noticeable, since last summer, its annual growth reached 970%. Now the price shows negative dynamics.

Against the background of the general turbulence, growth leaders in 12 months remain Bitcoin (+25%), BNB (+8%) and XRP (+280%). At the same time, Ethereum and Solana continue to lose position. If the pressure on the part of the supply is preserved, Solana may encounter a further decrease in capitalization, while BNB wins due to the deflationary model.
