Huione Guarantee’s largest Darknnet was frozen in Telegram messenger

Telegram has completed a large-scale operation to eliminate the largest Internet platform in the history for laundering cryptocurrencies and criminal schemes. We are talking about the Black Haowang Guarantee market, previously known as Huione Guarantee, through which tens of billions of US dollars passed through the explorers.

Telegram blocked all accounts, channels and NFT, related to this platform. The project itself announced a complete closure and published a farewell statement on his website. The operation was the result of the investigation of Wired journalists and analysts teams who identified a network of thousands of accounts participating in illegal activities.

For several years, Haowang Guarantee functioned as a shadow marketplace in Telegram, where tens of thousands of sellers provided money laundering, fictitious transactions and other types of fraud. Citizens of East Asia, actively used Telegram as a protected and convenient platform for organizing transactions.

The guarantee system built in Haowang allowed to conduct large transactions anonymously, hiding behind pseudo -transformed documents and cryptocurrency. It was for this that the project gained fame as the largest digital black market of our time.

In the announcement on the Haowang website, representatives of the project with many grammatical errors reported that on May 13, Telegram “blocked all our NFT, channels and groups”. After that, the team decided to stop all the activities. This officially confirms that the project infrastructure was completely paralyzed by the actions of the messenger.

Analysts believe that the closure of Haowang can seriously change the balance of power in underground crypto economics, especially in East Asia, where Telegram has long served as the main platform for this kind of operations. The news caused a wide resonance. Many experts welcome Telegram actions as an important step to cleansing the industry of gray schemes. However, the question remains open: will there be dozens of new, more distributed and anonymous networks instead of Haowang.
