However, September reminded us that, from the point of view of historical statistics, it is considered one of the most difficult periods for the entire segment of digital coins. At night Moscow time, Bitcoin faced strong pressure from sellers. The situation raised many questions, since there were no prerequisites for such a thing.
Many experts believe that the current trend is due to recent events concerning Donald Trump. This provoked panic among not only his voters, but also bidders in the global market. Currently, analysts are discussing what can be expected from BTC in the near future. According to representatives of the Bitfinex platform, the flagship of the crypto market is losing its direct connection with gold, which has put additional pressure on Bitcoin.
Over the past 24 hours, the asset has lost about 3% in value, firmly settling below the psychologically important level of $60,000 in the current realities. In turn, gold is strengthening its position, and during today’s trading, the precious metal reached a record high of $2,580.
According to analysts, the current situation signals that, in terms of risk diversification, large investors continue to prefer gold. Recently spot bitcoin-etf interrupted the series of outflows of funds. However, this did not provide sufficient support to the main digital asset.
Representatives of Bitfinex believe that the current situation will not allow Bitcoin to confidently gain a foothold above the $60,000 mark. On the other hand, a lot depends on the results of the upcoming Fed meeting. If the American regulator reduces the refinancing rate by 50 basis points, this will most likely force buyers to become more active.
